This is the privacy statement of Lifestyle Habits (referred to as “Lifestyle Habits”) for users (referred to in general or with “you” and “your”) and applies to the use of the Website - Webshop and the digital products of Lifestyle Habits offered thereon. The Website is accessible via the URL www.lifestylehabits.nl (referred to as “Website”).

Lifestyle Habits considers the careful handling of your personal data to be of great importance. Your personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by Lifestyle Habits in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) (“GDPR”). How does Lifestyle Habits obtain your personal data? When you contact Lifestyle Habits, Lifestyle Habits collects certain personal data.     Why does Lifestyle Habits need the above information from you, what is the purpose of processing it, and on what legal basis does Lifestyle Habits do so?

  • Administration & legal obligations (such as tax retention obligations)
  • Sending newsletters. When visitors subscribe to a newsletter, personal data is processed exclusively based on consent. Lifestyle Habits does not send unsolicited commercial messages and does not use personal data for third-party marketing.

    6. Sharing of personal data

    Lifestyle Habits only shares your personal data with third parties if this is necessary for the provision of the Lifestyle Habits services.

    Lifestyle Habits works with third parties that provide services on behalf of Lifestyle Habits and at the request of Lifestyle Habits. In this context, certain personal data is shared with these third parties, or those parties have access to such data. This concerns, for example, the hosting provider for Lifestyle Habits.

    The sharing and processing of your personal data with such third parties is subject to data processing agreements or standard contractual clauses to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected.

    Some third parties from whom Lifestyle Habits hires services are themselves controllers with respect to the personal data they collect from Customers. This concerns, for example, providers of payment processing services, such as banks and other payment service providers.

    It is possible that some of the third parties with whom Lifestyle Habits collaborates are established in, employ personnel in, or store data on servers in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA).     Lifestyle Habits shares personal data exclusively with parties necessary for the performance of the agreement or legal obligations, such as:

    · Web hosting (MijnDomein) – technical support, security

    · Payment providers (MijnDomein and Stripe) – for payment transactions

    · Email services (MijnDomein, Outlook and MailerLite) – for sending orders, email communication and newsletters

     

    All parties operate in accordance with the GDPR and do not use personal data for their own commercial purposes.

    Personal data is not sold to third parties and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

     

    7. Automated decision-making and profiling

    Lifestyle Habits does not use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal effects or could have significant consequences for users. Personal data is not used for automated analysis, profiling, or unsolicited marketing purposes.

     

    8. Cookies

    Lifestyle Habits uses functional and limited analytical cookies.

    · Third-party cookies are only used for necessary functionality such as shopping cart management.

    · Tracking cookies are not placed without consent.

    Lifestyle Habits has procedures in place for the event of a data breach or if Lifestyle Habits has a suspicion thereof. Lifestyle Habits will notify its Customers and the Dutch Data Protection Authority of this – if Lifestyle Habits is legally obliged to do so.

     

    10. Rights of customers and visitors (GDPR)

    As the person whose personal data is being processed, you have a number of rights that you can exercise free of charge. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please send an email to Lifestyle Habits.

    Customers and visitors have the following rights:

  • Right to information: through this document, Lifestyle Habits provides you with information about the processing of your data, for example regarding the identity of Lifestyle Habits, the purposes for which and the ways in which Lifestyle Habits processes your data, the rules that apply to this, the rights you have, and how you can exercise them.
  • Right of access to data: you have the right to access the personal data that Lifestyle Habits holds about you.
  • Right to rectification: You have the right to have data amended if your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete. You also have the right to have the data amended if the data is not relevant to the purpose for which Lifestyle Habits processes it, or if your data processed by Lifestyle Habits is in violation of a legal provision.

  • To prevent Lifestyle Habits from providing personal data to anyone other than yourself, Lifestyle Habits may ask you to identify yourself. This can be done in various ways, for example by means of a copy of a valid proof of identity (such as a copy of your passport with your BSN and photo obscured; it is best to use the government's KopieID app for this). Lifestyle Habits can only process requests that relate to you personally. Lifestyle Habits will respond within 14 days of receiving your request.

     

    11. Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

    Lifestyle Habits may share personal data with government agencies when legally required to do so (such as for the tax authorities or the police).

     

    12. Minors

    The Website, content, and products of Lifestyle Habits are not intended for persons under the age of 16.

    Lifestyle Habits does not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

    Should this unexpectedly occur, parents or guardians can contact us to have this data removed.
